Tuition Payment please help

parents were ready to pay for my tuition on line by ePay. I was awarded with great FA package which was one of the reasons I chose Stanford.

But when we got to payment section it had Total Due $17,592.00.for Autumn.
When I clicked the Units Billed section it shows TOTAL BALANCE DUE which is above mention amt. and my FA award.

SO, do I pay the difference to stanford ( Total balance minus FA award )?

I am very worried about this. thanks for any comments.

the exact same thing happened to me! We called the financial aid office and they confirmed that you are just responsible to pay the difference. (This should be the amount you should be paying after accounting for the financial aid package they sent after the acceptance letters) They just don’t spell it out for you. phew!

Don’t take that at face value. If you have subscribed to the health care plan, you need to send them an email with your name and student ID telling them that you would like to subscribe. That way, they increase your aid. In addition, they should have redistributed aid more heavily to autumn quarter, which is more expensive.

I had to call/email a few times to get my financial aid straightened out.

if you go on axess (axess.stanford.edu) and click on financial history by term and click on the term you want. The difference between the total amount and the expected financial aid is what you need to pay.

phew! thanks guys for all your help. now I can go to sleep in peace
