Tuition Question!

Hi, I am an incoming freshman and I am trying to figure out total tuition costs. I am wondering for the cost of medical insurance (SHIP) is already covered in the tuition or if it is an additional cost?
Thanks for the help! :)

SHIP is an additional cost. tuition is around 12600 total.

No tuition if instate. At least it’s not called “tuition”. They are university “fees”. Not that it matters, it’s really a matter of semantics. It’s still money paid out each quarter.

SHIP is a separate fee, currently running about $1,600 for the year. If youi’re covered under your parents’ health insurance, WAIVE it. Just make sure you waive it timely, otherwise you can pay for a late waiver or be stuck paying the whole thing if past the late date.

They started calling it tuition starting this year (2011/2012). It was previously called an “Educational Fee.”
