I just learned that I got passed over for all the merit scholarships I applied for. I reallyyyy wanted to attend WashU but it is next to impossible now that I got no merit aid. The thing is, I’ve gotten good merit tuition offers from other a couple other universities (think top 20, private). Is WashU one of those schools that I could talk to and negotiate my tuition down or ask them to match an offer from a different school?
Of course, all of this is dependent on if I get admitted
You ca always ask, but the likely response will be no.
Exact same scenario, got a full tuition scholarship from Vanderbilt but would like to go to wustl, but awarded no scholarship 
@ChilliLL Congrats on Vanderbilt scholarship. When were u notified of scholarship. Do they notify before admissions just like WUSTL
@AllenTx15 Thanks! Yeah, they do notify before admission decisions are released. Specifically, I was notified February 13th
From what I’ve read schools generally do not negotiate for merit aid.
