<p>Does anybody have thoughts on freshman apps for fall 2006 at Tulane? Are you going ahead with your application or not? How will Katrina affect the application process?</p>
<p>Well....since the entire computer system is DOWN and the town has mandatory evacuation, I wonder how they will process applications? And where would you send it...snail mail is probably not being delivered, and the internet isn't yet working, plus there's no power. This situation is truly heartbreaking...if it were me, I would prepare the application if Tulane really was on my list, and see what happens either online or in the mail. Something will come up!!</p>
<p>Well, if you're worrying about deadlines, the earliest deadline for anything admissions-wise at Tulane is November 15. General correspondence otherwise can wait.</p>

<p>Why anyone would consider Tulane even as an option is beyond me...the school is beyond being the college environment it should be in the coming year.</p>
<p>I disgaree, this'll just bring everyone closer as long as people stop pussing out and transferring because of a little water.</p>
<p>The city is pretty much destroyed. There is no "pussing" out, people want a normal life.</p>

<p>yah my neighbor/friends brother had his first year at tulane...he was supposed to go for his sophmore year a short time ago hes going to a college local(hofstra) not community but local Hofstras actually really good...if i ever had to stay home for a semester or a school year i would go there</p>

<p>Daughter and I will be attending a Tulane reception here this week - I'll be sure to report back. Got an email this weekend that they will be accepting applications for 2006.</p>
