Hi I’m Lauren I’m a senior at a private school in Texas. My mom and grandparents are Tulane alumni. Tulane has been a dream of mine since I was little! I was wondering what my admission chances are? I have written both the common app and why Tulane essays and I think they are both really strong, and accurately reflect my personality and me as a student.
GPA: 3.96 out of a 4.0
SAT:1220
ACT:26
AP classes: AP biology
Honors classes: pre AP biology, honors anatomy and physiology and honors psych and honors physics

  7. I will have 673 service hours by graduation
  8. I work 2 part time jobs too

Great GPA. The legacy and the enthusiasm will count for a lot as well. I would retake the standardized tests, or at least one of them, preferably following a prep course. If you’re u can get your ACT up to 29 or 30 that would put you on more solid footing. Good luck!
