I sent my application into Tulane RD around early December and it was listed as complete in late January after I contacted the admissions office in question. At the time that I applied, I didn't even know much about Tulane, and only applied because they sent me many pieces of mail and e-mail and offered their 'personal application' so I decided to apply for the fun of it. Now I'm extremely interested in the school, and getting a little nervous. I know they do a sort of rolling admissions deal, but my application is still "Pending Review". Does this mean anything, or am I just being super paranoid?

It probably means just that - that it’s in review. They’re probably really busy in admissions and haven’t gotten to your application/gotten the chance to update the computer. I know it’s a stressful time, but don’t try to read too much into things - it’ll drive you crazy (from personal experience :P).

Tulane had another huge year of applications, between 43,000-44,000, up about 10%. I would suggest that you contact your admissions counselor, rather than the general office. You can find your counselor by going to [Tulane Admission: Meet Your Counselor](http://admission.tulane.edu/counselors/index.php)

Give them a couple of days to get back to you.
