Hi–My son was accepted EA to Tulane. A few weeks later, he received an email inviting him to apply for the Altman international business program. He is interested in international business, but is not someone with a language background. My question is, was every EA/ED admit sent the same email? Or are students with a business interest the ones who were sent the email? Thanks!
My son (ED) received the same. He has a strong language background but did not indicate in his application that he might want to pursue it as a major or minor nor did he specifically express an interest in business so I imagine that many received this e-mail. My kid does not have the AP credits necessary to manage it in 4 years so even if he were interested it’s a non-starter for him.
My daughter (also ED) got it too and had not even taken a language or business class this year - seems like it was a general email to all.
My son was accpeted EA and received the same email. He noted he was undecided but does have a possible interest in business. He has the AP credits and took AP Spanish last year (but no language this year so he would be pretty rusty). We haven’t taken a close look at the program yet. We are visiting for admitted students day on Feb. 25 and may find out more by then or while we are there.
D was accepted EA, got the email, has zero interest in business.
