Hi, I was invited to interview for Tulane after submitting my application for EA and will have an over the phone interview on Monday. How do they select students to interview? Has anyone else interviewed/ been invited to interview?
I’ve been invited to interview, and now I’m anxiously awaiting to be contacted. It’s been a week and a half, so after notifying Tulane, they discovered it had been sent to the person’s spam box. No idea how many people are invited, and it can only help, but I definitely am not reading into it as a “sign” of being looked at.
What are your stats? Did you apply for any scholarships? Did you select a major? Sorry for all the questions I’m just trying to figure out who gets selected and why. 
My stats aren’t that high. 1230 superscored (650 CR, 580 M), 3.95 weighted GPA, great EC’s, lots of demonstrated interest, good why tulane. Tulane is a reach for me. I want to major in public health, and I’m applying for Paul Tulane and maybe the Community Service fellowship but those haven’t been submitted yet.
Oh ok thanks. I have a similar gpa to you and also good ECs. Im also applying for the Paul Tulane award so maybe thats why. I’m interviewing tomorrow I will let you know how it goes and what to expect!
