Tulane Average GPA?

I’ve been seeing on a lot of sites lately that Tulane’s Average GPA is between 3.45 and 3.55. I have two questions about this that I would like answered if anyone know:

1.) Is this accurate. This GPA seems significantly low for a University of Tulane’s rigor and reputation.
2.) If this is accurat, is it a weighted or u weighted GPA

Back in September when I applied, I had a 4.1 gpa and I was only accepted for the spring of 2018… So I think it just depends. I’ve seen a lot of 4.0s and higher on here though.
