<p>Anyone have any suggestions about/knowledge of these schools? I am undecided in my major. I know all these schools offer great educations, but what are their differences (academically & socially)? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! I can't pick!</p>
<p>I got the impression that Bing was setting itself up as a “public” Ivy. There’s a book that which idenfied the key factors that made the IVYs different, and BIng made the runner up list. </p>

<p>Last year in the college admission visit we made, they even went so far to say that their graduates compete with HYPS graduates for jobs.</p>
<p>Binghamton is rural, with the only activities provided by the college. THey seem to try hard to fill up the hours. Student body is mostly from NY, as might be expected, and some go home on weekends because it is close. Its 2-3 hours from NYC area, there are busses that run pretty frequently from downtown.</p>
