You can walk around campus, masked, but will not be allowed access inside buildings. They are currently doing guided tours, I would choose that over a self tour. Just sign up.

I checked ā€œDestination Tulaneā€ and no spot available for the whole April. The daily tour is open but I want a tour tailored for admitted students if possible.

Hopefully the schedule of May will be available soon.

@AMPiette Iā€™m sorry to hear that. Iā€™m not sure why they waitlist kids after already ā€œwaitlistingā€ them (deferral) once before. At this point weā€™re a month away from decision date. Itā€™s just not fair to the kids.

My daughter just committed to Tulane! She applied EA and recā€™d a partial scholarship. We visited over New Years. Anyone know when Freshman move-in would be? Classes start 8/23. Congrats to the Class of 2025!

Posting for future classes. Tulane just plays games. Daughter is high stats. Tulane had her do zoom ā€œfly inā€ where we invested countless hours to show interest. They emailed me (parent) and daughter nearly daily. I had to unsubscribe!

She applied EA. Was deferred. Got waitlisted today. She opted OUT!

She has been admitted to Berkeley, UCLA, Michigan, USC, Northeastern, and many other highly rated schools. She was offered full tuition scholarships at Wisconsin and Fordham and Chancellors at a few UCs.

Tulane plays games. My daughter was actually interested for some time. She invested her time into multiple scholarship essays. I invested my time on many zoom sessions.

I would not recommend applying unless you read about how they operate and you are willing to play their silly games.

Maybe Tulane is not willing to compete with Berkeley for a high stats applicant.
