Yes, 5 minutes ago! I’m from Seattle, WA … it showed an “update” in the portal. No email. No letter.
@lourveamerican my application portal says the same exact thing however my application was submitted 10/01/16
Nothing today. App submitted 10/1. Last item received on 10/8.
The portal states that it now has everything it needs to make a decision, but I don’t see the words “application complete” anywhere. Just a bunch of green checks.
Anyone heard in New England?
Has anyone one been rejected / deferred? or are they only sending out acceptances?

Lot of exciting news on the thread. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!
DS got in EA - didn’t hear until 9:15ET tonight! Nothing in the mail, but we haven’t been to the PO Box since last Thursday. Tulane has his “rare” major - Political Economy, and we think that’s one reason why he got in. He’s seriously excited!!!

Reflection
Strengths: stats, strong ECs with awards/honors in most of them
Weaknesses: essays
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: stats and showing interest - visited several years ago because DD visited, but remembered things and included them in the why Tulane essay
Where else were you accepted/deferred/rejected: Applied to Tulane, BC, Georgetown, UNH - only heard from Tulane so far. Planning to visit again in March at one of their admitted students days.
My application was submitted on 10/04 and early decision agreement on 10/21. I still have not heard any uodate in my admission decision. Can anyone explain why?
@tillyrose - this may not be the answer you are looking for, but you have until December 15 to be given a decision. There is still plenty of time to hear back!
@TulaneBarry - Is there a correlation between application decisions and the DHS and PTA scholarships? I have yet to receive an admission decision and everything was in by October 8th. I noted on the application that I will be applying to the DHS and PTA scholarships, but I haven’t started this process due to working on other applications. Are admission counselors waiting for the scholarship applications to arrive before making a decision (as it may allow them to save merit aid for other students)? Or are the processes completely independent from one another? Thank you!
@theringoinfinite - there is no correlation between the two. The application review and DHS/PTA review are completely independent from one another. This is why admitted students are, technically, able to be admitted to Tulane even before the DHS/PTA deadline.
My application for EA was marked complete on 11/1 and I have yet to receive an admission decision. However, today I got an email noting me as a competitive applicant and describing the DHS and PTA awards. Do you think this is a good sign?
