December 15 for ED. December 20 for EA. These decision deadlines have not changed.

Am I the only one who is a bit weirded out that apparently there is a Tulane Admissions person monitoring this thread, but not helping to provide any clarity on these questions apart from weighing in on the one issue?
No one is ever going to give specifics on admissions. Check other threads and you from me frustrations. I believe Barry and Maddie are interns. Tulane wants the ability to take time if needed. I know it’s frustrating but you can only be mad if they miss the actual deadline. I don’t think they will. Sorry.
And yet, @skeptile, Barry responded with specifics on admissions with respect to the email from fimservice@tulane.edu. And apparently when people call the admissions office, they also sometimes provide specifics. I’m not saying that they need to or even ought to, but there should be a consistent approach. And I think that people affiliated with Admissions who are monitoring College Confidential threads should make that clear.
I try to stay away from these discussions, but I am compelled to say that I think that people like Barry and Maddie are students who are doing their best to try to help board contributors. Everyone knows when their deadline is. Why they try to push the envelope is beyond me. If you applied EA, then your deadline is 12/20. It would be nice if you were to receive notice early, but it is silly to get all worked up, and bitch about it before the 20th. It may be sadistic, but I am kind of enjoying (or at least amused by) all the hemming and hawing. Having said this, I do think that Tulane would do a better job and instill more confidence in its prospective students by post all EA decisions at one time. Any way, try to calm down, and good luck to you all.
Have a urgent question. Checked my email and got an message from Rulane Technology that said “I am pleased to Welcome you to Tulane” and includes a Tulane ID# and my new email" . Am I in? Portal updated. Thx

@“800m In My Blood” I think it is great to have admissions staffers like TulaneMaddy and Tulane Barry on the Tulane thread to answer questions to the best they can. Fallonchemist was a great contributor to the threads --irreplaceable imo–and they are doing their best to try to fit into his large shoes! Look at University of Pittsburgh threads, as they also have an admissions staffer HailtoPitt1849 monitoring the threads and providing helpful info daily. Most on CC would consider it a big value added. You cannot expect the admissions staffers to know or be privy to everything going on in admissions but they certainly provide a useful service for applicants and parents who have lots of questions and concerns on the College Confidential website. More colleges should do this.

I was accepted 11/24 and I submitted my app around 10/20. I had a 32 ACT, 4.30 weighted GPA/ 3.9 UW, many extracurriculars. I received the premier scholar award ($30,000 a year)
