I just logged onto Gibson and under the student section it asked me for an emergency contact, to sign up for a meal plan, and to register. Does this mean I got in?
@Testing05 did you get an email from Tulane on how to register for Gibson?
I am an EA applicant and haven’t heard back from them regarding ANYTHING. No Gibson ID, and ofc no admission decision yet. I’m also international asking for aid, so hope I have not been rejected already.

@Testing05 could you tell me how you got the login info? Just curious.
@vaibhav2614 You should have received an email after all of your materials were received and your application was complete which would have given you login credentials for the applicant portal where you are able to check your admission decision.
@Testing05 Unfortunately no the only official decision would be through your applicant portal.
When you go to the login hit forgot username and password and then they will send it to you @vaibhavm99

Signed into Gibson and it’s a blank page. No options. Thoughts?
@TulaneMaddie22 the only email I have received till date has been for the applicant portal where I can see the status of my materials and apply for scholarships. Have I missed out on any emails or do I now just have to wait for my decision? Thanks for your help
When does ed hear back tn? Also is anyone really nervous because of the email that wasn’t supposed to be sent yesterday?
Just picking your brain, why would the email that wasn’t supposed to be sent make you even more nervous versus more hopeful. I don’t have answer but curious as to your opinion? This could be a big black eye for the Univ.
If we did get deferred or rejected, will it tell us or will it just never update???

Is it possible that the “false” acceptance email was sent to all ED’s?
It seems, since they have EA that most people go that way for early.
@TulaneMaddie22 I am a professional college counselor. I am stunned at the unfair and unprofessional lapse that occurred yesterday for Early Decision applicants. Some received an email from Tech welcoming them to Tulane, giving them a student ID number and an email address. Then they were told that the message was an error. These are students who have committed to attend Tulane. If it happens that they were not only told in error, but in fact, told but NOT accepted, then it is a terrible breach of trust. I hope that the Admissions Department understands the agonizing results of those actions and will take the long view that they should all be accepted. If not, I am certain that the public relations result for Tulane will far exceed the damage done to do those few. It will be a nightmare for admissions for a long time to come. I realize that this is the first year for Tulane to have ED in a long time, but that is no excuse to torture those who put their faith in that concept.
