So they’re admitting people for the wrong semester?
Congrats on y’alls acceptance! But i don’t understand why there would be room in january but not in fall. i love tulane but it really makes zero sense to me. still haven’t heard ea yet, getting anxious.
USC, Berkeley and I’m sure other schools have spring admit. Actually I saw Northeastern and I believe Cornell may admit for Fall 2018.
Lots of schools admit students for spring semester. I agree with the above. It’s better than not getting in. If you want Tulane badly enough than it shouldn’t matter when you start. And maybe these spring admittances are to make up for the mistake yesterday. perhaps that mistake gained you admittance albeit a spring admittance, but admittance nonetheless. Be grateful.

I can guarantee everyone here that NOBODY wants to sit around with their parents for seven months while all their friends are off on their new adventure in college!
After yesterday’s acceptance letter from their tech group and then their retracting it several hours later, I receive ED acceptance to January 2018. Are you kidding me!?!? This admission group is a joke. Their response is we know it is “confusing” and we decided to try something new. They are just playing with their applicants. President Fitts should be ashamed.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy! I’m just wondering how there will be space in January but not in August?
but hey, 7 semesters of tulane is just as great as 8.

My guess is that some who were accepted for Spring 2018 will be moved to Fall of 2017 after EDII and RD apps start rolling in.

As a parent of Stanford and WUSTL grads and a Vandy junior…they would NEVER have willingly missed out on their first semester.

can people post their stats if rejected or accepted, or accepted for 2nd semester I applied EA and wondering if I have any chance of getting in
@TulaneMaddie22 Is the ED acceptance for Spring 2018 binding? Since it did not exist, and the ED1 students applied for Fall 2017, are they bound to accept?
Just upsetting that I applied over two months ago and am anxiously waiting to hear back now and there is still no update to the portal or email for anyone other than those accepted Spring 2018
