My daughter has just taken the Oct. ACT, in hopes of raising her composite (28) since Tulane does not super score. ACT is not starting to release scores until a week later than usual, starting 11/8. If her score is not released right away, it might not make it in time for her EA deadline of 11/15 and they usually will not send until the essay is scored, which is even more time . Should she send another score in the meantime if it’s a few days before the deadline and will they look at her new score when released? She did mark on the common app that she did have it pending.
Tulane is her #1.
Yes, I would send the 28 in order to meet the deadline. Then her file will be updated with her new score when it arrives, if it is higher.
@fallenchemist – Thank you! She just wanted to make sure they would take a new score after the EA deadline. She did not list it to be automatically sent to Tulane, in case it’s not higher…but will pay to send right away from ACT if it is…we both follow your responses about all things Tulane and it’s been very helpful in this process!
