ugh didn’t get my letter which probably means I was deferred
I know two others who didn’t receive their letter in Dallas today, one of which has a 35 ACT and a 4.2+ GPA, so I have a feeling most DFW applicants just didn’t get their decision today. @trynagocollege @maverick53
My ED button did not work last night I have a large package from Tulane that I can’t open until my parents get home, but pretty sure it is an acceptance based on the packaging. So…no idea on merit since I can’t open it yet. I’m in Fort Worth.
@dayeshunlap What does DFW mean?
@EAisStressful did it work yesterday?
I’m so stressed. I can’t believe I didn’t get my letter today. I don’t know anyone else in Dallas who has either
Anyone from pa got the decision. Also an international student here, do they send out the letter for int’l students too?
Well this day keeps getting worse. Printed my ED2 form last night and going to get it submitted tomorrow. Really wish I got in as it has been my dream school for years but I had a feeling it was too much of a reach
Mine did not work last night and was gone, like everyone else, this morning.
DFW=Dallas/Fort Worth area
@cantkeepcalm13 Did you actually get deferred/rejected? Or are you just assuming based on the EDII button conspiracy
From PA… my daughter’s classmate got her acceptance letter today but we didn’t get a letter and they live like 2 miles away. She is assuming she is deferred or rejected.
@WiscoRunner DFW is short for Dallas-Fort Worth, the Metroplex area in north Texas. People from both cities often receive common mail on the same days because of the proximity (Dallas is 40 miles due east of Fort Worth). He’s just talking about the applicants who live in one of those cities, like me.
@maverick53 @EAisStressful Oh okay thanks
@cantkeepcalm13 well, you haven’t been rejected yet, right?
I just checked my portal, and I do not even have an EDII button, could that mean good news, (really hoping so already got deferred at my top school this week and I’m not looking for it to be my top two schools)
Much appreciated maverick53…
Accepted 33k scholarship. 33 ACT. 3.9UW GPA. Tennessee
@WiscoRunner I’m assuming based on the conspiracy, as it seems that everyone accepted couldn’t access their form last night. Really bummed, chances for ED2 will probably be slim too
I just started a thread Tulane Class of 2022 - Introductions and Discussions. I know someone started one about stats and stuff but I don’t really care about that. If I’m in it’s all good! This one I thought would be a way to get to know each other and stuff like that. Just remember, be careful what you talk about, this is a public forum.
