@kkpita1 This may sound cocky (sorry guys) but I can pretty much confirm that the whole “merit aid only today” thing everyone’s saying is definitely false. 3 kids within my own neighborhood did not receive letters today, all of whom have 33+ ACTs, and of which who has a 35 ACT, so I sincerely doubt there is anyway people who get accepted tomorrow will not recievve merit. Conversely, a kid with a 30 who lives about 45 minutes away from us DID recieve his acceptance, so I’m definitely not worried about that anymore.
Finally got a chance to check my mail and got nothing (I live in Austin). EDII worked for me yesterday… looks like I’m waiting until 4PM tomorrow!

Dallas area- mail just came, nothing from Tulane. My EDII button DID work yesterday, but I’m not going to panic over speculation about something out of my control. I’ll be okay with being deferred it that’s the case though… my SAT isn’t too strong but my EC’s, essays, GPA, and service work will hopefully be able to get me in RD. Best of luck to everyone tomorrow! Try not to panic, we’re in the homestretch 
If you get deferred I wouldn’t worry. Just read a Tulane admissions blog post about how this year’s EA applicants are the strongest they’ve ever been. Average SAT range is 1440-1540 and the admissions rate will likely be lower than last year which was 21%

Great to see so many accepted from all across the country. Those who have yet to hear, hang in there. Went through similar situation with another school over the weekend and was deferred. No doubt there will be great news tomorrow for many. Good luck!

I live in Northern VA and applied EA to Tulane. Excited to say I was sent an acceptance letter today with a Distinguished Scholar award! ($27,000 per year)
Two things: Merit aid theory is not true. My friend got accepted for Spring (she has to skip first semester and do something else) and got no merit aid so that theory is false.
Also, my ed II button did not work (it said error), however i still have not received a letter so don’t panic that theory may be wrong and I may be deffered tomorrow

We live in CT and my son got his acceptance today with a $24,000/year merit scholarship.
Sadly, he will be turning it down as he got in ED to another school where we will be paying full price! If I could throw up I would. He is happy with his decision so it is all good.
