do portals update 4 or 5 ct?
No letter yet but several friends got acceptance letters yesterday. I guess it looks like I am out of luck even though I have a 32 ACT, 3.73 GPA and many ECs. Admissions says it doesn’t mean anything that I haven’t gotten a letter yet but I really don’t think it is looking good. Thoughts anyone?

Someone got a denial letter? Admissions told me no EA applicants get denied yet.
@Adhoc17 I feel the same, we have the same ACT and almost the same GPA, and I still haven’t gotten my letter. Reeeeally hoping the portal updates at 4 CST and not 5.
It’s hard to say, because each school is different. However, it is likely 5pm CST as most schools don’t want to release during the school day so they wait until the end of the day for the West Coast schools.

D accepted today in TN! 3.97 uw 34 ACT. Some of her schoolmates got their letters yesterday though.
My ED II button disappeared but no letter in the mail. Not sure if it means anything but found on the Tulane blog, DO: “Consider switching your application to ED II. This is for deferred EA applicants only (and for first time applicants.) You can get more info here. The deadline is January 5th.” So maybe the fact that you can’t press it anymore is a good sign?
@123lavv1 Everyone’s EDII button was removed a day or two ago.
Even for deferred students? How would they consider switching then?
I think they are waiting to allow people to switch to EDII until everyone has definitely received their decision (via the portal, today) so that students don’t think accessing the EDII form means they’ve been denied/deferred (see the past 30 pages or so of this forum, EDIIGate/the EDII conspiracy already happened)

@acceptedman A bunch of people have said that they called admissions, and admissions said they’re posting them today. The time is up for dispute, some people said 4CST, 5CST, even 6CST… so we’ll see
@latte12 Also Pgh area and nothing yet. I go to Winchester and am hella nervous as one of my classmates was accepted yesterday, but there’s 3 of us who have got nothing yet.
