While I don’t want to believe it, it looks like EDII gate was right and that Tulane accidentally left it on there before decisions were released and took it off just to cover their asses Unfortunate but seems like that is the case.
Definitely my first choice!
They definitely messed up and tried to take it down when they realized people caught on. Oh well, hopefully I have a chance to apply EDII now
With the EDII thing, was it if the button was even there, or if it worked? Mine was there but I never tried clicking it
Just while I’m killing time waiting for the portal, did anyone notice that there’s a new tab on Gibson? Mine has a home, applicant and financial aid tab now whereas before it was just home & FA. Let the conspiracy theories commence…
I was accepted to Tulane and got my letter in the mail today. I live in Michigan! I got 30k per year with honors college. It is very unlikely that I will attend.
@bigchoices2018 Yes, I just noticed that. Can anyone log into their Gibson that has been admitted and actually see their aid??
they’re up!
Portals are up. I was deferred. Very disappointed. 32 ACT, 3.83 UW GPA (school doesn’t weight but should be approx. 4.2 weighted), lots of ECS, leadership, community service, etc. No chance they’ll give me merit aid even if I get in RD so I won’t be attending.
Deferred

Live in sf Bay Area, D got acceptance letter today
ACT 30

Good essays, including why Tulane
We visited as well
23,000 per year founders
Deferred. Was my #5 choice but still sucks being deferred. Won’t be going because of the ridiculous price even if I get in
so EDII gate is real. man.
Yes it’s confirmed.
EDII gate was real, deferred and pretty devastated. Definitely switching to EDII, I’d take any offer they’d give me at this point
yeah I just got deferred so im guessing the “early decision” gate was true
Deferred… portals are updated
deferred. 1400 SAT and 3.95 GPA. pretty upset because Tulane was pretty high on my list.
I got deferred with a 32 ACT, 3.9 UW GPA with 12 AP/IB classes, fairly good extracurriculars, plenty of service hours. I thought I had a pretty good chance at getting in, and spent a lot of time on my why Tulane essay. Any input why this might be?
