Essays (rating 1-10, details):
Common App: 7/10. I wrote about my interest in the national debt and what we can do to fix it. Originally I thought it was alright, but I reread it recently and cringed.
Why Tulane: 8.5/10. I wrote 700 words and worked pretty hard on this one with my college advisor, so I think that helped.
Recommendations (rating 1-10, details):
Teacher Rec #1: Calc A/Physics C Teacher (7.5/10) She was nice and I had her for two years and we bonded well, but I honestly can’t say how good it was.
Teacher Rec #2: Art History/Euro History Teacher (9/10) He really liked me and told me he “only writes recs if he knows it will be good.” He saw my interest in the subject and how hard I worked in the class.
Counselor Rec: Honestly, idk because of how big our class is. I spoke with her on occasion, but we certainly weren’t close.
Additional Rec: N/A
Interview: No, although I submitted my app a week early I was never contacted.
