Tulane for math

I am planning on going to Tulane for undergraduate and majoring in math, maybe doubling in physics. I scored a perfect 800 on my math SAT. I got a 5 on AP Calc BC in 10th grade, and have since taken Multivariable Calc, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. I have also gotten 5's on AP bio, chem, and physics C. However I scored only a 640 on my Verbal SAT and was turned down from all the ivy league schools. I was wondering how well Tulane would really suit me, get me into a good graduate school, and prepare me for studying math someday. I am primarily interested in studying theoretical math and physics.

Basically, if I was suddenly accepted to an ivy league school somehow, would you recommend switching, or should I stick with Tulane.

Also, my only other choice right now is BU. How are they for math?

Wow, those are some intense courses you took -- especially for a high schooler. You probably don't need many more math courses to get a college degree. If I may ask, which schools did you apply, did you get into any of those? Perhaps they thought your verbal was low, but 640 is nothing to scuff at.

You may want to check the US News rankings (not as a final choice but as a guide) to see how those schools rank for mathematics. Sorry I am not able to help much.
