I have a question about the Tulane Guaranteed Transfer Program. I was offered a guaranteed transfer from Tulane after 1 year of college with a 3.0 gpa. I am enrolled at Wisconsin and I don’t intend to transfer to Tulane, but I would like to have a great backup option if I end up not liking UW. By filling out the form for the guaranteed transfer, I wouldn’t be forced into the program, but I would receive more info from Tulane this summer about it. Is it unethical to agree to this program even if I don’t really plan on doing it? I just want a good backup option. My thinking is it’s not unethical because it’s not a binding program, I’m just agreeing to show interest in the transfer program, but I wanted other opinions. Thank you
Lots of students who truly believe that they will transfer, decide against it after a year, so it is perfectly OK for you to accept the guaranteed transfer offer, and decide later if it is what you really want to do.
I also received the Guaranteed Transfer Program. Are you planning to use it? I have sent in my application and think I might use it. Not loving my college experience so far.
do you know how to access the portal for the guaranteed transfer program?
