@gogogogobruins exactly. As a smarter friend put it, it’s schroedinger’s admissions: right now, those who haven’t yet heard are both accepted . . . and not accepted.
Has anyone heard anything today?
nope… someone should tweet @ admissions
Nothing again today.
Is Tulane waiting to release along with the ivies?
d is already focused on the early admitted acceptances and probably has fallen out of favor with Tulane. Should be a warning to Tulane admissions that there is a risk in waiting too long as seniors have already started warming up to other schools that have long ago announced.
@Darthdad very true. Other schools sending us letters and emails courting us have definitely warmed us to other schools.
UGH I HATE WAITING
I wish we at least had a definite day to wait for
This wait is awful!
Could it be today? Last year most decisions came out March 20th which was a Sunday like today…just a thought
From the Admissions Blog http://tuadmissionjeff.blogspot.com/2012/03/waitlist-now-what.html
So does that mean that anyone who hasn’t heard yet is destined for wait list? @dolphnlvr6
Tulane is certainly taken their sweet time to release decisions
@TulanePlssss no. Jeff said in his blog everyone will hear by April 1, which has always been their last date to notify. And if you are waitlisted, you will hear by then if you haven’t already heard. If you are a definite wait list, you’d heard by now.
I wonder if there are still any acceptances to go out, or whether it is only denials and wait lists at this point. Guess we will know soon enough.
That would be sad that they would wait this long only to reject. It’s like rubbing salt in the wound @MDATLD
So any admissions decision (waitlist, accept, reject) is still possible at this point? I am so confused and frustrated.
I think reject is the least likely at this point. If you’re a definite reject you would have heard by now. I’m guessing waitlist is the biggest possibility followed by acceptance.
their twitter said wait list comes out this week so it feels like we might all be waitlist
I’m really hoping so. I called Tulane to ask and they wouldn’t say, just the same answer that all decisions will be posted by April 1st. More waiting, but maybe all hope isn’t lost yet.
I think a denial would be less painful than a waitlist at this point!
Lol we can’t all be waitlist…waitlists aren’t that big
