I think Tulane advises via USPS only. I don’t think they do email or portal. I am saying this from a conversation I had awhile ago with the admissions office and I had asked how the kids are notified. When you look at the portal, under the overview tab it says: Requirement: Admission decision pending review Status: Established and Requested. then the date.

So does this mean that the application was complete (established) on feb 5 and is requesting the decision? or does this mean now that the decision has been established (decided) and the request for the letter/ package was made to be sent?

Just got waitlisted by UChicago and accepted into UW-Madison but I really cannot wait for Tulane!! One of my classmates got his acceptance letter and now I’m dying to hear my decision

When did he get the letter? Did RD go out?

When I got deferred in December, there was an update to the portal. I suspect that there would also be an update to the portal this time around.

Stilll waiting on this Tulane RD. This was such a bummer to get deferred EA. But, I learned of the interest factor. I have a good offer from UNC but waiting to see if Tulane can maybe top it

I got waitlisted… with a 35 act and a 3.9 gpa…

waitlisted. 36 ACT, 4.3 UW GPA, extremely strong ECs and leadership. seems like a very large number of applicants with high stats was either deferred ED/EA or waitlisted RD. interesting.
