^^^ That must be for the full year, trackie, not a semester!! My s's bill for first semester (which included all the "fees" ) was $6,110.00 (He had the DHS and the NMS)

I believe the $17,700 that trackie referred to was the tuition only portion for first semester billing...

this is what would be paid for by DHS for recipients

Oh.. duh!! :o Of course. Thanks, hovermom. Yes, the DHS showed $17,750 applied for first semester.

i'm unsure if i'm attending Tulane next fall for certain, yet i'm still filling out a community service scholarship application. the application for a scholarship in no way binds you to a school correct?

one last question: has anyone ever heard of people that were awarded the scholarships they applied for but didn't end up going to the school? what would tulane do? give it to another individual that is for sure going?

thank you for the help

m528, no applying for the scholarship does not bind you and i believe that they award a certain number of scholarships anticipating some students will still turn down the offer and decide not to attend

Hey everyone,
I’m a junior in high school but I already know that I really want to go to Tulane. I get really good grades in an IB program and will get good test scores. However, I have a great idea for this box project, but the problem is my idea involves a place I am going on vacation this spring break and I will not have received the “box” yet. Can someone tell me what the box looks like so I can get one and do my idea in advance? Thanks!
Jake

Hi Jake,

The DHS application is on line on the Tulane website and the box is just a square on the paper:
