Tulane Spring 2019 Transfer Thread

Hello!

I am a sophomore this year at a Top Liberal Arts university. Hoping to transfer to Tulane in the Spring Semester. I am wanting to get some advice on my chances of admissions.

Hispanic/First-gen

SAT: 1370
ACT: 30
Undergrad GPA: 3.55

Extracurriculars (freshman year):

Service Trip to the Dominican Republic

UG GPA: 3.83

Just got in, here are some stats.

Major: Physics
College transferring from: Community College, attended a Private for one semester
GPA: ~3.7/4.0
[Disclaimer, my GPA doesn’t tell the whole story. my first semester of college was abysmal, I did a completely different major, far easier in course load, but bombed due to personal issues. My GPA for my first 12 credit hours was a 1.61, the next 50 is around a 3.96)
Units completed: 65 quarter hours
Units in progress: 0
ECs listed on app: Work, taking care of family, several clubs
