I have been accepted as a junior transfer at all of these schools and am having trouble making up my mind where I want to go. I am going to major in economics and wanted to get some feed back relating to who has the best econ program, which school would provide the best all around experience, and which program might be easier to get through maintaing a high gpa than others. Also tution is not going to way into my decision much.
Thanks!

UNC Charlotte is the place for you IMHO.

Are you considering UNC Chapel Hill or UNC Charlotte??

I would think that CH = Chapel Hill and not CHarlotte but I could be completely wrong...

UNC Chapel Hill!

Chapel Hill would be the more direct comparison with Tulane, academically, than Charlotte... Both are excellent. But the two campuses are very, very different. Chapel Hill has the feel of a big state uni, whereas Tulane has the feel of a smaller LAC. Both have big greek scenes, but UNC has it hands down in sports, if that is important. Chapel Hill is not, however, NOLA.

As far as economics goes, Tulane's political economics program is reputed to be a real jewel. On the other hand, if you wanted a business education to go along with the economics, UNC's Kenan-Flagler is one of the better business schools in the country (Undergrad - BSchools).

Best thing to do is visit both campuses and get a feel - while this would entail a little costs, keep in mind that you're going to spend 2 years at your choice, and a visit would be pretty low-cost insurance...

definitely not bucknell....
the cmapus is too stuffy, but if that is your cup of tea...
