<p>I applied for tulane on october 31, ea. I haven't heard back yet. My counselor sent the rec letter two days after i turned in my application. </p>
<p>I'm afraid I got deferred. If my decision hasn't shown on Gibson yet, will I get a letter saying I got deferred?
Do they tell you if you got deferred on Gibson?</p>
<p>I didn't do the why tulane essay and I haven't visited, but I e-mailed my admission counselor yesterday expressing interest. I don't want it to seem like I'm not interested, but it might seem that way.</p>
<p>Woops, got cut off! But anyways, tulanes page here on CC is seriously amazing. there are a few really knowledgable posters who can answer any question you have. I know Tulane takes interest really seriously, so if you’ve shown no interest, that will definitely hurt you. There’s a long thread on tulanes page with people listing their stats and whether or not they were accepted, so I definitely encourage you to check that out. There are still people being accepted, so you definitely still have a chance, but I would post this on tulanes forum for the best answers!</p>
