Okay, I’m well aware of the standards and requirements in order to get accepted into Tulane. I’m honestly not completely sure on my ACT score and I’m pretty sure the average ACT score they accept is about a 30…well…mine is about a 21 or 22…so…yeah. My gpa is somewhere between a 2.7 and a 3.0 which again, is much lower than what they usually accept. (I’m hoping my mother has most of the act info, and I’m calling her today)
I don’t know if it helps raise my chances at all, but I’m with the tuition exchange program because my dad works at a college I’m currently attended, but it doesn’t offer all the courses I need for my major, and Tulane is with tuition exchange. This means my tuition is paid in full. I also have some pretty good radio segments I created for a radio class at my college, and I think you can send a college previous work you have done for the specific major your going for but I don’t know.
I’m hoping I can get a couple recommendations from people, so I know like I said, I know my chances are slim, but since Tulane has no application fee I’m gonna go for it. Any feedback?
You are just finishing your freshman year at your current school? If yes, the 2.7 GPA is for that freshman year? I just want to be sure I have that straight.
