I got into Tulane and I got about a 20,000/year scholarship renewed for four years if i keep a 2.7 gpa. Some have told me that it's an old, bad college that's just trying to recruit people. I mean i have a good sat and a 3.95 gpa. So i guess what i'm asking is what do you know about Tulane and do you think i should go there? It's private so it costs 30,000 for tuition alone, so i still have to pay quite a bit.

It depends on your chances at others schools; if you feel the need to ask this question, then most likely (imo) you should not bother with Tulane.

Ignore the people who say it's an "old, bad college." Tulane is great academically. I'm in the same position as you but I don't question Tulane's academic reputation for a second. Most of my concerns are related to the culture of the school (too much partying, etc.). I plan on visiting so hopefully I'll love it and will end up going there because right now, its by far my cheapest option!

Depends largely on what kind of degree you plan to pursue. If I remember correctly, it's decent for law and business.

How about Tulane and architecture? I seems really great. I have to visit still.

yeah katrina's an all right school
