I really need some advice on which school I should attend. I'm currently a student at RIT (only for 3 more days!), and I'm looking to transfer schools. I want to double major in neuroscience and psychology and I've narrowed it down to SUNY Binghamton and Tulane University. I know both schools are great, but I can't seem to make up my mind for more than a few hours at a time.

Tulane awarded me a $36,000 scholarship, and Binghamton didn't award me anything. With the scholarship Tulane will be more expensive, but not awfully so. I could be totally wrong, but I believe that Tulane is better known, and stronger in their academics, and therefore would give me a leg-up. At the same time, I'm worried about the programs being too rigorous and falling behind.

I really love the idea of going to school in New Orleans, and Tulane seems like a really great school. My sister lives in New Orleans so I would have someone around if I ever needed anything, but I'm worried that living over 1,300 miles from home is going to be hard.

My best friend from high school is in the scholars' program at Binghamton, and I've met a lot of her friends when I went to visit. So, I know I'll at least have people to talk to, while at Tulane I wouldn't know anyone.

I don't really know the student body of either school all that well, but from what I've hear Tulane is very social, into partying, etc. I've heard Binghamton is similar, but not as bad? I'm worried about fitting in at either school as, while I can be social at times, I'm more of an introvert.

Overall I just want to go somewhere where I'll be happy. I realize that it's my decision to make, but I really just need some advice.
