I am a high school senior from Pittsburgh currently deciding between Tulane and Penn State-University Park. I like both schools equally, and am looking for advice as to how to choose which school, or just which school to attend: Tulane or Penn State.

Here is a calculator that will help you look at the money issues, and also suggests some non-financial factors that you might like to consider. After you run it and look at the results, you add in any other non-financials that you think are important for you. Good luck!

The schools are so very different! Hard to imagine you cannot prefer smaller or larger, big time sports vs not so much, warmer weather vs not so much, etc etc. You of course can get a good education at either school, but the environment in which you will learn are miles apart (literally and figuratively). The calculator happymom suggests should get you thinking about some of those factors, and of course there may be other considerations.
