Tulane Vs. USC

So I got into Tulane with 20k Scholarship, Just found out that I got into USC though for the Spring Semester. I'm from CA and have lots of family from USC. Am in SC's business school for Business Admin and Tulane's Business school undecided.

Wondering people's opinions?

Ha. I didn’t apply to USC as a freshman, but during the fall decided to apply as a transfer for film. I live near New Orleans, though, and accepted Tulane’s $24k + Honors deal pretty early.

And I wouldn’t change my first year undergrad for anything. I’ve lived here my whole life and hadn’t experienced a true Mardi Gras…

Freeman v. Marshall - I think they are relatively comparable. Freeman might be the better deal because of the $20k. And Tulane’s schedule seems more flexible for what you can take classes in. Classes are usually 3 credits with a cap of 19. At USC, classes are mostly 4 credits with the recommended cap at 18 so scheduling has to be specific and planned.

Or can you do a semester at Tulane, then go to USC? The fun stuff doesn’t happen til Spring, but you can at least experience NOLA firsthand.

im making the same choice right now for the liberal arts colleges. i think im feeling tulane because of the size and awesome social scene.
