<p>Ok. I am valedvictorian of my senior class with a 4.0 uw and a 4.45 w GPA. And i have 9 aps. I have played sports all four years, and I'm national honor society vice pres and in sga. I also have a lot of other extracurriculars. The down side is that I have a 31 on my act. Do you think i have a good chance to get the dean's honor scholarship or the John Hainkel scholarship at tulane?</p>
<p>The 31 hurts your chances, no doubt. But with everything else you have going for you, I think you have a long shot. The Hainkel will be tougher because of course there are only two of those in all of Louisiana, so if there are others applying with similar stats except a higher SAT or ACT score, they have the edge. I assume you already got your app in for those, they are due Wednesday.</p>
