Tulane

Hey guys,
I was just wondering, do any of you know anything about Tulane's Communication Program. I know that its not one of the most popular majors at the school, but are there a lot of classes that you can choose from and do they offer many internships? I loved the school, but I want to know about the communication program before I decide further. Thank you

Hey sixerfan! Here’s a quote from a thread awhile back about the communications dept.

Also, if you go to [Tulane University - Class Schedule](http://classschedule.tulane.edu/) and search all courses under communications you can see all the classes they offer

The other general theme that seems to recur regarding the communications major at Tulane is that while it is more limited than at some other schools which have a strong focus in the area, the internship possibilities in New Orleans and nearby are actually pretty good. I have no first hand knowledge of the specifics.

I will suggest that if you have an interest in communications within a particular area, Tulane is a great place to double major. They make it particularly easy because of the way the college is structured. It strikes me that in the competitive world of communications, having some specialized knowledge might be useful, but of course I have no idea what your goals are.
