S is very interested in Tulsa. However, financially would need very strong scholarship to attend. 34 ACT, 3.78 unweighted GPA 3.98 weighted GPA. Nine college level/AP Courses. Varsity swimmer, Team Captain Scholar Bowl. Boys State Selection. State Scholars Academy Selection. Would Interview very well.

My S goes to TU and has absolutely blossomed there. I really am in no position to estimate what your S might receive. I will say that I have been fortunate to meet several parents and I have heard repeatedly that TU will go above and beyond to make the numbers work for an outstanding kid like your S who shows a strong interest. Perhaps your S can establish a good relationship with his admissions officer and express his interest.
My S received an outstanding financial package. Like you, this was very important to him.

My son is a junior ME major at TU and absolutely loves it. His stats were VERY similar those of your son. While not a Presidential Scholar, TU was very generous with his scholarship. He kept in frequent contact with his admissions representative and took advantage of every opportunity to show interest.
