Something tells me the message on the portal will change to March 15 tomorrow.
That would be terrible but at this stage nothing would surprise me. It seems they are actively trying to be more gender balanced this year (which is great), but this makes their yield more variable. It wouldn’t surprise me if they push even to April 1.
I really hope we do not end up going that long

I only hope any extra time they take is devoted to ensuring a truly diverse, as well as deserving bunch in Turing. My previously mentioned niece who graduated from UT CS (without Turing) stated that you could stereotype the Turing students so easily and nail it perfectly based on a few criteria. Hoping that is changing now.
What does your niece have to say about UT CS without Turing? Cause at this point we don’t know if Turing is going to happen or not. Is it still worth it?

She loved it. She works for a tech giant and is based in Austin. Makes a higher starting salary than some of her Turing friends 
. Long story but she is an immigrant that went through a tough personal life. We brought her and her twin brother here and put them through college. Her brother went to UT Dallas for CS and makes about the same salary. She recommends UT even without Turing.
