Turing Scholar: Has anyone been accepted yet?

<p>My son has been granted admission into the Computer Science department at UT Austin for Fall 2013. He has also been accepted into the Dean's Scholar program.</p>

<p>But we have not received any communication from the Turing Scholar committee yet. Has anyone heard?</p>

<p>My son is a Freshman in Turing. He received his acceptance into Turing last year on December 18. So you guys should probably be hearing soon!</p>

<p>I am out of state and haven’t heard from any of them: Deans, Turings or regular ole’ admissions. I applied mid-November.</p>

<p>My OOS son didn’t get his acceptance until the beginning of February, but that was three years ago, so it could be different now.</p>

<p>If you don’t make it, go ahead and sign up for all of the honors cs classes. If you take them and do well in them, transferring into the program later is a clear option.</p>

<p>Those of you who got in: did you see any change on the MyStatus page, or did you just receive a letter? Did your major change from “Computer Science, Entry Level” to just plain “Computer Science”? I haven’t received my letter yet, but I’m still hopeful.</p>

<p>Daughter received Turing acceptance letter Dec 24, dated Dec 20th. Nothing changed online except housing contract offered under housing tab.</p>

<p>nothing on mystatus changed for me. my letter got to my house on the 26th, postmarked dec. 22.</p>

<p>One more question: did you guys already accept your offer of admission to UT?</p>
