I don't really mind about the size but I do mind about the reputation. While I see that McGill is not an Ivy League, I heard that it's reputation is somewhat one the same line as Brandeis and Tufts (if not below?)

I am just curious to hear which school you chose instead of McGill and your personal regard on the school's academic reputation.

thanks

anyone could you help me out?

McGill, along with University of Toronto is like Canada's Ivy League. It's an amazing school. I would much rather go to McGill than Tufts or Brandeis.

Just my opinion. ;)

What do you plan on majoring in?

I am planning to major in English lit and/or linguistics. By the way, I heard that many canadians prefer American schools rather than canadian schools. Right now, I am just too frustrated about my college options.

They do. They'd probably rather go to Harvard or Yale than University of Toronto or McGill. Who wouldn't? But in your case? Brandeis or Tufts isn't like Harvard or Yale. You'd save a ton of money by going to McGill, and in my opinion, you'd get a better education.

Do they speak english in Universities outside of the US?

If you plan on learning French, (or if you already speak it) go to McGill. It's a strong French environment. It'll help you learn/improve your French. ;) Go to McGill.
