turning it down?

i got into u. of rochester as transfer, but theyr offering a measly $6000 scholarship, and i cant afford the rest $35000+....

what is the best way to tell them that i'm not coming because of the $'s and that i might reconsider if i get a better aid package .... email ??

Some colleges permit applicants to appeal against their financial package. If Rochester is one of them, then write to the financial aid office

i dont think they allow appeals, but i just want to leave an impression that i'm leavin because of the finaincial aid ... should i just email the admissions office and let them know ?

bump........

yeah definitely email them about it. usually schools (at least in freshman acceptances) want to know why you are not attending. and who knows, it may cause a few thousand dollars to come your way by some chance.
