Alright for some context i’m going to explain my situation briefly. My first two years oh high school so far have been rough. I have now been getting the grades I wanted and I consider myself to be extremely under preforming. Freshman year was the tough adjustment to high school where I got a lot of As and Bs, overall for freshman year I had a 3.4 GPA out of 4.33 scale. Now onto sophomore year im having the same results and I even got my first C :(… around a 3.3 GPA for sophomore year out of 4.33 scale…
What I really want to know is have I already ruined my chance to get into a good college with my terrible performance thus far? I completely understand that my poor performance is due to me slacking off and not working as hard as I should, but I just want to know if its still possible to turn around my high school career thus far and attend a good college in the future?
Colleges I were hoping for are- Berkeley, Amherst, basically any top 15 computer engineering college.
