Tutoring people for $ in high school?

<p>Well, I tutored someone in German last year. EXTENSIVE tutoring. And he ended up doing really well. I’ve also tutored other people for free - I think I have a pretty good reputation and a high success rate. So I guess word of mouth is how I reach out.</p>

750 Math SAT Reasoning
740 Math IIC
93 Math A regents
91 Math B regents
I get $11 an hour from this 8th grader, $20 an hour from this college student.
Plus I get $7 for in school tutoring.</p>

<p>So your prices are reasonable if you’re a good tutor.</p>

and she asked another guy to tutor her at the same time
and that was really awkward…</p>

<p>just because someone tutors you for free doesn’t mean their time has no value!</p>

<p>fiziks- I was tutoring a kid that had three other student tutors and a professional tutor (all at the same time). It was kind of awkward when/how I found out.</p>
