Tutoring?

Long story short: I want a 36 next time I take ACT on June and/or September. Reading is my lowest score and right now whenever I take practice tests my best average score is 32-33 range. Can’t improve no matter how many tests I take or how many mistakes I go in-detail for.

Someone suggested I get a tutor, so that I can get pointers on how to improve and the tutor can see why/where my mistakes occur.

I looked through Princeton, PrepNow, Kaplan. On college confid., they mostly have bad reviews. Actually majority of tutoring questions have negative comments towards them.

I need help finding where I could find most best experienced tutors that could help me get to this 36 only in reading. I believe the rest I can get to the 36 w/o much trouble.

Thanks!

I use varsity tutors, but for somebody like you who has near perfect scores I’m not sure how helpful a tutor would be. I use them and I think my tutor is great, but I started off with a composite of 27 so I had a lot to work on. And reading especially is difficult to improve on with a tutor. It could work for you, but I’m just letting you know what I think.
