I'm looking for a reputable and economical on-line store to purchase tux shirts and ties. I'd appreciate any leads. It may be against the TOS to recommend establishments in the forum, so please PM me. Thank you.

While I don’t speak for administration, the mods tend to leave that type of link alone, if it’s posted for general info, or for “the greater good”.

There’s at least one I posted here http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/music-major/711055-what-do-performance-majors-really-need-take-college.html?highlight=tux (post 28) and probably a few more.

And since we’re at it, here’s this one as well: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/music-major/910898-musicians-attire-concerts.html?highlight=tux

I just bought my S two new tux shirts (his old ones were somewhere between tan and grey, after 6 years…) from J C Penney online.

I don’t know about online, but I’ve purchased inexpensive tuxedo shirts/ties/vests in person at J C Penney, Kohl’s, and Burlington Coat Factory.

I’ve ordered from Uniformal Wearhouse, and been happy:

[Wing collar tuxedo shirts. Priced from just $10.95.](http://www.uniformalwearhouse.com/apages/tuxedoshirts1.html)

Thanks to everyone for responding. Shirts should be arriving in a few days. Thanks to Violadad for the link to the other posts. I hadn’t thought about putting together a first aid kit, and it’s a great idea.
