<p>Roommate will be bringing the fridge & microwave so we will be supplying the TV. What size TV do you all recommend and do we need to provide a TV stand too? Or can we put the TV on something in the room already. Son will be in the Towers.</p>
<p>My daughter just put her TV (13 inches) on top of her bureau. Of course there IS a lot of room under the bed if you loft it slightly. And if you do that, you can also unstack the two pieces of the bureau and put those under the bed, making room for a TV stand. So there will be a few options. But you’re correct to assume the Towers rooms are pretty compact. I think your son will want a TV larger than a 13-inch, though, especially for video games. I think the lounges (every three floors) have large TVs for communal viewing.</p>
<p>If the roommates push their two bureaus together between the windows, they can get a larger TV on there. Just remember that they will only be about 6 feet max from it, so it doesn’t need to be too large.</p>
<p>In the information on what to bring it says 17 inch or smaller television. So perhaps that’s the largest you want to go…</p>
<p>And some of the flatscreen TVs have a “lag time” when video games are played on them. So my daughter has been avoiding them for now. That’s a great idea to put the TV on the two bureaus though!</p>
