my roomie isn't bringing a tv, she thinks it would be better to use the one in the lounge and such. but i wonder, should i bring one?

i've quit watching TV for about two weeks now...you can't imagine how much more stuff you'll get done

it may come in handy but i'm considering getting rid of it altogether

I'm in the same situation, simplyloved. There are so many things to do at USC that I think we will all forget about having a TV after a while.

As long as I can watch away football games on the lounge TV, then I'm fine. ;)

depends on how much tv you like. My older sister didn't because she's not a tv person. She'd rather get out and do things more adventurous than watching tv.

I'm not the type of person who sits and watches anything on TV. I have my specific shows that I need to watch, though (Gilmore Girls and Alias, mainly). It's true that you will have plenty to do, but just remember that you may want to watch your weekly show and someone else is in the lounge (I went without a TV for the first month or so of school last year, and sometimes I went to the lounge and someone else was in there watching something). But if you don't have shows that you watch or you don't need a good source of procrastination :) , then you may be fine without one.

Thanks. I'm decided -- no TV for me.
