Two questions:

What size TV should I get for my double in stetson west?

It says that refrigerators have to be 3 cubic feet or less. I found a really nice, cheap 3.1 cubic ft fridge. I doubt they would look it up or measure it, but I want to make sure before I spend the money and take it all the way there. So if I brought a 3.1 cubic ft fridge, would they care?

I had a 22 in and it was a little big but was still nice, there is not a lot of room to put them other than your desk so I kept mine on the end of my desk so I could lay on my bed and watch TV. (I had the book shelves above my desk and they were too small to fit the TV, some rooms have movable bookshelves above one’s bed). Some kids brought a 32 in and put in on top of their fridge in front of the window. It just depends on what you want. Anything over 32 is too big in my opinion.

As for the fridge they would not come in an measure, they just don’t want a huge fridge, I’m sure you could get by with a 3.1 cf fridge

was ur 22 in a tube? or a flatscreen?

You need to check but I believe NEU requires the students to rent a micofridge combo from them. You may not be allowed to bring your own fridge.

I’m almost definitely sure we can bring our own fridge. We aren’t allowed to bring microwaves though.

Fridge definitely okay. Did it last year in Stetson West.

Fridge alone is fine, they just don’t want you to bring both a fridge and a microwave. Although my roommate 2nd semester had a fridge, microwave, a small rice steamer, and a convection oven, so you can get away with it but maybe he was just lucky.

Personally I hated the micro fridge. The microwave sucked and came dirty. The fridge was nice, however small and mine rattled (I had one first semester) at night which was annoying. I would just bring your own fridge and you can always friend someone with a microwave. They are not that important in my opinion.

My tv was a 22’’ lcd samsung… Worked out nice, and I think they are fairly low in price now ($300-$400)

I just read on the website that the fridge can be no more than 5 cubic feet. I could have sworn I saw 3 cubic feet somewhere. Can anyone confirm that it’s 5 and not 3?

I called NU and was quoted at 5 feet
