I am so sick of the TBBT, HIMYM and Two and a Half Men-type shows that I don't want to watch another episode of them. Any alternatives?

Which shows do you guys watch on a regular basis?

Which shows do you guys watch on a regular basis?

What is TBBT HIMYM…?

I watch House, Grey’s Anatomy, MODERN FAMILY, Outsourced.

HIMYM = How I Met Your Mother
TBBT = The Big Band Theory

Or at least that’s what I’m assuming. :D

Fringe. Greatest show on tv

People actually watch the sitcoms on the alphabet soup networks?
I usually stick to comedy central and the history channel and ESPN

The Office never really gets old for me. Same goes for Law & Order (Original, Jack McCoy FTW). And you can’t go wrong with Tosh.0 and documentaries.

The TV shows I’ve watched in the last year are…
The Mentalist (once, because it’s my friend’s favorite show)
The Middle (once, because it was on TV when Modern Family was supposed to be on, can’t say I wanted to watch it again)
Modern Family (when it used to be on, like half a year ago)
The Simpsons (when I’m looking after my sister)
Jamie Oliver Show (once)
Some random American teen shows I can’t remember the name of
Shortland Street (this crappy NZ soap opera, I don’t usually watch it)
And then it’s kids stuff… I don’t really watch much TV. I’d spend the TV time on the internet to be honest

I like watching documentaries and more factual things, I like learning more about these topics whilst mindlessly staring at the screen. Funny, since I prefer reading more fictional stuff :)

Watch British shows. They’re awesome.

Pretty Little Liars is really good right now.

Watch Misfits.

HELL YES they are.

I tried watching the British version of The Office, didn’t like it NEARLY as much.

I usually watch Friends (that’s my guilty pleasure show), The Simpsons, Jeopardy!, and Wheel of Fortune (to make fun of the contestants).
Other than that, I enjoyed Scrubs when it was good, and I occasionally watch House. Buut…It gets old at times.

Torchwood!

I think this is an example of a type of British humor that is often not very well understood in this country. The show also takes a couple episodes to warm up to.

Skins! The one with Dev Patel.

It’s hilarious in a weird-as-hell kind of way.

Oh I love both of those shows…hahaha.

COMMUNITY
Modern Family
Skins (lol it’s so popular right now, but it’s good…UK version ftw)
Top Chef

The Office
NCIS
Criminal Minds
Burn Notice
Arrested Development
Friends

My favorite series.

GLEE! Except that I only watch it for the Kurt/Blaine plot.
The rest is annoying and clich

Guilty pleasure.

Skins is amazing but I really loved the first two seasons. I miss those characters. I get why they got a new cast but two seasons wasn’t enough with the old ones…

Weeds
Mad Men
Friday Night Lights

And Glee was good the first season but now it’s just tacky… The whole Jacob Ben-Israel ticks me off–they’ve taken it too far. It also really bugged me that they hardly touched on Hannukah during the Christmas episode. I mean, aren’t Puck and Rachel supposed to be Jewish?

^^ Glee revolving around Kurt is destroying the show. I used to like him but this season he sucks.
