twilight=love

wow u guys are so not regular teenagers. i luv the twilight saga and miley!

Not regular teenagers? Well unfortunately 80% of my school fails to read works of art, of depth; and really REALLY good books. They are missing out.
I read this book about a year ago to see what the whole "buzz" was about; I was disappointed in seeing people reading this over and over and over and over and over....... and over to the n'th time.

Not discouraging Twilight lovers.

Oh and move this to the cafe maybe, not exactly anything to do with prep school.

EDIT: Asian Kid, I did not see your latest post; not trying to bash on you at all. Glad that you are doing a post.

asiankid29, don't worry, no one was mad :-)

We just thought it was weird to have a twilight thread popping up next to threads about Exeter essays and the like.

Lol, I wasted hours trying to help my friend convert her downloaded Twilight movie into iPod format. Then she tells me it's a Classic, and that takes another hour for her INCREDIBLY slow computer to convert.
Anyways, I read all of the Twilight books, and they were kind of addicting. Even if I'm a boy. But girls get way too crazy about it. Apparently, Twilight has sold approximately 2.6 billion copies throughout the world.

2.6 Billion? I didn't even think that many people were literate. Are you absolutely certain? That sounds vastly incorrect

million, im betting. but it's already up there in the "long list of most-sold copies"

the davinci code, having been written only two years before twilight (or was twilight 06, i forget), is much higher up than twilight i'm proud to say >:]
and harry potter is a god up there.

the best selling book in history to date is the bible
then it's the red notebook, i believe. a bunch of quotes from mao zedong? i think it was him.

agh twilight.
i swear i wanted to rip my ears off when everyone was "team edward/jacob" for three weeks before the movie came out.

i myself own double copies of the saga. one for reading and one for my collection of books.

i luv twilight! team jacob <3

-regular, twilight obsessed teenager :)

ok, I own all the books, but I'm not madly in luv with it.

edward is yummyy. heard he owns 2 pairs of pants though. that's kinda weird since he has money.

Well, it's not like he sweats or has body odor or gets sick and has germs. If I had that much money, I'd spend it on tons of nice cars, rather than a house full of clothes (which he does).

he only has 2 pairs of pants. how is that a house full of clothes? if i had that much money, id spent it all on clothes

Oh, sorry, I phrased that wrong. Well, I forgot what I was trying to say anyways.
Oh, and Tom, that statistic is made up, but according to the twilight fans in my school, that's how much it's sold. More than the Bible, more than Harry Potter and Tom Clancy and Artemis Fowl combined.

twilight=gay...sorry ladies

I actually thought it was pretty addicitng (in sixth grade...), and I'm a guy. The writing may be bad (and the characters unbearable...) but it was still, well, addicting. I hope you read them...

ur gay! jk but seriously that's kind of offensive to homosexuals.

what a waste of a thread..twilight sucks.

Don't waste thread there's kids in africa who need clothes who would be happy to use that thread :)

The story is cute. The writing, abysmal. And the lines at the movie theatre on the day of release: ridiculous.

I agree totally, except I never watched the movie. Helped a friend put it on her iPod, though.
